Learn how the calibration effect can help you report with confidence and increase your reporting speed up to 3.82× with better quality in less than 1 year.

Are You Taking too long to report MSK cases? Avoiding certain joints? Cherry-Picking?
Many radiologists hesitate before signing a report. Is it really a labral tear? What if I am wrong? Then you look at the case again, still same doubts. You might even put it aside and look at the case later in the evening or you want to show it to a colleauge... Just to be sure.
This is probably the most common scenario for radiologists that work with me in my coaching program, the Virtual MSK Fellowship. Doubts are the main symptom of a insufficient calibration in MSK and are cause by inconsistent training and feedback during residency. One consultant says "It is a tear." For the other consultant the same findings might be even just a "degeneration". This prevents proper calibration.
The solution is to get re-calibrated. I have helped 400 radiologists over the last few years getting re-calibrated with tremendous results.
"Before the fellowship, I felt almost like a second-rate radiologist. Now I’m confident, quick, and more skilled. My colleagues see it too. They come to me for MSK cases."
"I’m now handling around 140 cases a day in six hours, before the fellowship, I was probably handling 50 or 60 teleradiology cases per day… and my error rate hasn’t increased; it’s probably even decreased."
If it takes you more than 10min to report an MSK MRI, you are below average in terms of speed (link to study) - as shown in this research article here. Being slow has consequences... the worklist is growing, you need to stay longer, might miss family dinner or work after the kids are asleep.
Speed is the second most common problem radiologist face when it comes to MSK MRI reporting. It gets complicate by limiting beliefs some radiologists have, that fast reporting is dangerous or speed of reporting is somehow an intrinsic quality of a radiologist. It is not. Slow reporting is a symptom and the reason is either lack of confidence or lack of systematic approach (or both).
Radiologists in my Virtual MSK Fellowship saw an average speed increase of 3.82x after the one year training with me. I can teach you how to at least double your reporting speed with better quality.
You send out reports and never, ever hear back. How do you know you are delivering good work? Working in an empty vaccum is dangerous and can lead to unfulfilment as you might wonder what you are actually contributing. Are you good? Are you correct?
These are just some examples of thoughts that radiologists have if they work in a "no feedback" environment. You never know if what you write is correct. That leads to many missed learning opportunities and you don't progress in your skill. You can only assume. It is very prevalent in private practice and even more in teleradiology.
The solution is to setup a feedback loop. Learn how to contact clinicians and get feedback from expert MSK radiologists on all your tricky cases and simple questions in the Virtual MSK Fellowship.
"If you want to know more about musculoskeletal imaging as it’s currently performed at the very highest level, then the fellowship that Christoph offers is probably the best product out there."
"Initially, my stress levels were off the charts. Trying to quickly get through my caseload was very stressful. This course has made all the difference. I used to go home exhausted at the end of the day. Now, I have more energy to spend with my wife and family."
You want a better work life balance and want to try teleradiology. Or your want to move from interventional radiology to private practice like Dr Brown (See video). Teleradiology and Private Practive are by nature MSK heavy areas in radiology and such a move can be scary if your MSK training is years old and untested.
Don't miss out on a better work-life balance or better paying job (or side job as a teleradiologist) just because you are afraid of making the change. The reason why people area hesitating for better opportunites is the fear of rejection, the fear of not being good enough (esp. in MSK) and to dissappoint the future employer.
I have helped many radiologist successfully transition into MSK heavy and even subspecialty positions with the Virtual MSK Fellowship. If you have 3-6 months before job change and then overlapping the first 3-6 months in the new job - you will be successfull with my help.
Since 2014 I have been working exclusively in MSK Radiology. I offer my subspecialized MSK MRI skills as a freelancer to many private radiology institutions and hospitals in all of Switzerland. I am also the medical director of my own private practice MRI BERN.
I am married and we have 3 wonderful children. Besides radiology and coaching, my hobbies are sports and miniature painting (Warhammer).

The traditional 'Gold Standard.' However, for many, relocating family and sacrificing a full attending salary is impossible. Furthermore, some institutions use fellows for service provision (ultrasound/interventions) rather than dedicated MRI training.
The term 'fellowship' is often inflated. Most are simply extended workshops lacking the repetition required for true re-calibration. Crucially, they neglect reporting speed and offer no feedback on your cases—where you have skin in the game. Good for CME, but not for mastery.
Dr. Agten’s Virtual MSK Fellowship is the only 12-month coachinbg program that combines the rigor of an in-person fellowship with the flexibility of elite remote coaching. We focus 100% on high-level MRI interpretation, removing the distractions of ultrasound and interventions to fast-track your path to mastery.
Before you apply, you need to watch the free Calibration Effect Masterclass. This is essential to understand as the whole fellowship is based on that core principle. Watch the free Calibration Masterclass to see how we achieve 3.82x increased reporting speed with better quality. Already familiar with Dr. Agten’s work? You can skip straight to Step 2.

“Chris is a wonderful teacher. I highly recommend this fellowship for anyone wanting to become more confident, thorough, and accurate in their MSK interpretations. Referring physicians have commented that they’re happy with my reports.”
"I have much more experience than fellows my age. In my town, there aren’t many opportunities to report MSK MRIs in the state facility. Now I’m collaborating with private clinics. They’re happy with my reports and trust me with more joints."
"Before it could take easily half an hour. Now it takes few minutes only. If you want to reduce your time of reporting, then is the time that you should work with some mentor."
“I doubled the MSK studies I report every day. Orthopedic surgeons and rheumatologists now ask me for advice. MSK studies have become fun.”
“I was looking for a long time for something online. I'm a mother of three, so I'm happy to study from home. I no longer feel lonely. I can discuss cases with others. I went from four or five MRI cases an hour to 10."
"My reports became more focused, less extensive, and in the context of the patient. Orthopedic surgeons are very grateful. They try to send me more exams."
“If your problem is mainly diagnostic skills, then definitely this fellowship is the way to go over an in-person fellowship. It’s a brilliant course… One of the best decisions I’ve ever taken. I’ve seen considerable improvement in my speed, confidence, and precision."
“I love the course. I feel like I’ve gained so much confidence and knowledge. I’m always wanting to improve, and I don’t think that’ll ever end. My colleagues definitely…they laugh because they say that I’m now their go-to for their MSK.”
“Chris’s teaching is clear, concise, and directed exactly at what you’re seeing, with keen insights into calibration in radiology. It encourages openness and personal growth, welcoming questions in a vibrant community with real-time case discussions from all levels of expertise. It’s practical, energizing, and adaptable to personal and professional needs.”

“Most people think fellowship is for people who have just finished radiology training… But it also helps consultants like me because it brings you up to date and polishes your skills. I’m more confident in reporting stuff that I was not before, and spend less time in reporting them. With better speed, I’ve improved quality.”
“Listening to lectures has value, but it’s not enough. The feedback in these sessions is fantastic…It really works. After a year, my reports are more reliable, I feel more confident, and I know that I’m in the right place in my career.”
“Before, I was hesitant to pick up complex cases. Now, I do all MSK MRI reports without hesitation. I’m the go-to in my practice for MSK. A subspecialty in radiology is very important in this market, so this fellowship has been a real asset for my career.”
“This fellowship changes you from being just a general radiologist… Before, I was hesitant about many cases… Each case took me maybe an hour, an hour and a half… Now I write five or six cases per hour. I have more time for my family and to enjoy life.”
“Chris is a wonderful teacher who simplifies complex topics. The lectures are straight to the point. Before, I wasn’t sure whether I was reporting right or wrong. Now I’ve gained the confidence to take on more challenging cases. Owning a center, this course helped me increase my profits. “
“Before the fellowship, I was not confident with subspecialty cases, especially MSK. I always felt like I wasn’t doing enough.
The fellowship helped me tremendously. I can anticipate what the orthopods are looking for and communicate more effectively.”
“I’ve reported 12 times more MSK MRIs than last year. I have a two-year-old child, and I didn’t have time for a face-to-face fellowship… It has been very useful for me. After one or two months of listening to these courses, my confidence increased. Now I can teach MSK MRI to my residents.”
“I improved in three or four months… Now I have a lot of physicians that come now to our room and ask for advice. If people have to decide between this or an in-person fellowship… This is the better way to get the knowledge. Go for it. You will never regret it. The value is worth it.”
"I had the support I needed. No case was ever too complex to figure out. I feel much more confident as a radiologist and was happier to start issuing my own reports."
"Chris was chilled and fun, explaining with incredible patience. There are no dumb questions. In MSK, there are many gray areas, but Chris always had a solution ready. I feel much more confident."
"I'm much more confident. Before the fellowship I hadn't done any formal MSK fellowship and was having several doubts and difficulties. It helped improve my accuracy, make my reports more accurate, and reduce my overcall and undercall rate."
"Discussing my routine cases with Christoph gave me a lot of information, many tips, and a fine-tuning of my reports that I couldn’t get from regular conferences and training."
"Very practical and concise. Over 12 months I enjoyed having Chris as my mentor. I’ve developed my learning and approach to problem solving in this field."
